It's Friday, August 11 and I am truly grateful for these two guys and the extra effort put into getting my car running so I can get home.
Absolutely horrible customer service at the Edinboro location!!! I called on a Thursday to see if they could do an oil change. They said they could fit me in Friday morning. I said fine, but we dropped the car off Thursday afternoon since in-laws were in town and could help me then. There were no cars being worked on when I dropped off the car and no one waiting so I was hopeful it could be done Thursday. Now it's Friday at noon, and I still haven't received a call that my oil change is done. I call, the front desk person has to ask another person and I hear that person in the background reply "It's been done." So, we go to pick up my car, the front desk guy throws my keys on the desk and says the total. I ask if there were any issues and he asks what do I mean? So I elaborate, if there was anything low that needs to be filled, were there any problems with the routine maintenance? Then he says oh yeah, you're going to need brakes and an exhaust job and estimated $800-900. But mind you, he couldn't be bothered to go over what was actually done to my vehicle this time. I have no trust in this shop and will not return. I should have listened when I was warned to stay away.
First automotive shop I have been to that made me pay for my inspection twice. The first was a failed inspection for pads and rotors. Fixed em myself and came back to have to pay another inspection. They are not backyard mechanic friendly and the customer service isn't great.

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting at Monro Muffler Brake and Service (in Edinboro) after hours while they finish work on my car that was broken down.
The Times from 7:30 am and I showed up at 7:40 and No one was there. I sat until 8:44 and still no one showed up! I still can't believe it why have Times on your door if you aren't going to follow them. I left a note stating I was there and if they could give me a call when ever the shop opens. Still NO CALL I only needed an oil change this is ridiculous, never again.
When my turn signal light suddenly burnt out, I went to my local dealership to see if they could replace it for me (I was willing to wait a while until they could fit me in). Their computer system was down and their service department "couldn't help" me...I went down the road to see Steve at Monro...Steve fixed it and I was out of there in 10 minutes! A favor like that goes a long way and I really appreciate his time. If you need vehicle service, go see Steve and his team at Monro Muffler Brake & Service!
I am glad for how they were able to troubleshoot and fix the problem. I would highly recommend this business.
